Optional Accessories for Your Forklift
Audible Devices - Back-Up or Motion Alarms:
The audible devices like motion alarms or back-up alarms generate sound which needs to be really loud to be heard above the noise that the forklift makes in the operating place.
The sound has to be readily discernible from other audible devices or noises within the work environment. Sound should be readily discernible from other noise or audible devices in the work area. The audible device can end up contributing to OSHA noise limitation and to employee noise exposure; therefore, care needs to be taken.
Hearing protection makes it trickier to hear the audible device and to distinguish what distance and direction it is coming from. Audible devices can sometimes get disabled from operators and workers because they can find them irritating. Furthermore, audible devices could also be objectionable to residents nearby.
Additional Operator & Application Options:
Enclosed Operator Cabs: To protect the operator from the elements, enclosed operator cabs made of tempered glass are used to help avoid injuries and lessen other problems. Additionally, these cabs feature an emergency exit via window removal. Noise levels are reduced at the operator's ear because of additional sound proofing.
Operator Selectable Performance Modes: For every particular application, the operator can choose the performance requirement. As well, it enables a supervisor to set the unit's utmost performance for an operator who is just learning. Being able to adjust and lessen the maximum performance of the unit allows a new operator to learn the operating features of the machine in a controlled environment.
Impact Monitor: When the impact monitor is deactivated, a supervisor is needed to enable and override the model. This encourages the operator to be sure to manage the machine in a more controlled way.
Dual Rear View and Panoramic Mirrors: These mirrors serve as an aid to the operator in observing the operating environment behind the truck as well as the tail swing area.
