Powertrain
A lift truck has to be really tough to last for many hours of heavy use within extreme environments. These equipment have to be able to move loads efficiently and fast while still being ergonomic to the operator. The reliable, rugged Yale powertrain offers excellent durability through its state of the art clutch packs, computer managed engine and transmission and extremely strong gears and shafts. The transmission, engine, drive axle and steer axle are all isolated in order to lessen noise and vibration inside the operator's compartment.
Electrical
The electrical system of a lift truck is responsible for linking the major nerve centers of the truck together. Thus, the electrical system within the lift truck needs to be reliable and durable for the most demanding cold/hot and dry/wet operations. There is much sophistication required to be able to control truck functionality.
Delivering reliable electronics are a well-known hallmark of all Yale trucks. The Yale CANbus electrical system employs digital technology and reduces electrical connections and lessens wiring too. This results in remarkable serviceability and improved reliability.
Hydraulics
The hydraulics are the "muscles" of the forklift. They give the necessary force needed to lift heavy loads during the entirety of a long shift. All Yale trucks feature industrial grade hydraulic components. Several of these components comprise: heavy-duty hydraulic valves, leak resistant O-ring face seal fittings, fine micron filters and long lasting hoist and tilt cylinders. The control valve has been strategically positioned so as to prolong part life by minimizing exposure to heat sources.
Yale's diesel forklifts offer extreme reliability and are recognized for withstanding harsh working situations and coming out on top. These machines have been constructed in such a precise way that attention to detail has been considered to be able to keep the operator as comfortable as they could be.
