End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are well known in the material handling business for their great flexibility. These machinery have superior performance characteristics that are quite like sit-down electric forklift models.
These lift truck units are ideal for warehouse settings which have limited space. The space needed to use these machinery are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck requirements. These equipment are an excellent choice for applications that need frequent off and on access, since their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
The reach truck is a loading machine utilized by various businesses who maintain a storage facility that involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and materials that are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and simple retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great choice for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require for immediate use in a safe and efficient way.
All basic reach truck units will have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machinery. Telescoping forks are mounted to the out-rigging and can move up and down. The tines also include a hydraulic setup that enables the driver to lift the load and move it over the out-riggers. This design not just gives more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic blades swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Typically, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet wide without any problem, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
